The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was it could have offered a few more options while maintaing the simplicity. NoCrop for iOS comes to mind. The app works well though and maintains the resolution of the image better than NoCrop.

On M1 Air it freezes and locks up
On M1 Air 2020 it freezes and locks up right way. If the photo is small it works (still slowly), but all my photos are 5-10MP and it can’t handle these at all. Using Mac OS 15.3 (24D60)
Does not work for videos
Searched app store for "square video." This app does not do videos.

Easy and fast way to convert images to square size for my online store. 4 stars b/c I wish they had a clear option for the background.
Great for ecommerce
Needed a way to make rectangular products SQUARE with a 1:1 ratio for our shopping cart. Images already had a white background, but were rectangular. This app makes it easy to reshape images to square for ecommerce. Works like a charm. (I only wish there was a way to do batch resizing. -- Perhaps a future update?)
Just what I needed, but needs more features
Saves me a TON of time and for that I'm grateful. I agree w/ previous reviewer(s) that I wish it blurred both sides equally when using the color blur feature. Unless you use straight black or white, you end up w/ different sides or top/bottom. Most of all I want to be able to import more than one photo at a time and apply the same blur or backround to them as a set rather than one by one. Add these and fixes and this will be pure gold!!
Good app
I have been using this app regularly for work for over a year. It's great and works every time I've tried to use it. I'm giving it 4 stars because I find it annoying that you can't paste text into the save as field when you go to save your square picture. If that feature were added, it would be 5 stars.
Nice, simple app
App does exactly what I need to list my items on Poshmark. Very simple and easy to use. I have been looking for an app like this for a while, so I was very excited to find it!
Please add funcitonality to edit entire folders
I'd like to make entire folders of images square, to approve each one or select all, and export them to original file names or to a new folder with original file names. Power users need options. The app works fine for single images
App ONLY sizes pic - missing any other functionality.
I’m back to using my phone :( very disappointed, I thought this app would provide some basic features such as the ability to pull in several pictures to create a collage. Instead, i would describe it as an “add on” app that needs to be used with other pic editing software. You cannot make edits or create a collage. I wish the description of this app would have specified its limited scope. Feeling a bit cheated!
Very Good App
I like that I can make any photo Instagram ready from my desktop. One improvement I would like to see mad would be the blur feature tends to only blur the top half and not the bottom on many of my photos. This can be a bug., so I leave that feature alone and just use the Black or White backgrounds. Overall. It’s a step in the right direction and a good program.
